Trey was able to play YMCA basketball again this year. He had a really good coach – Rob. He was enthusiastic, had tons of energy and really enjoyed teaching and being around the kids. Treys’s team was called the Lakers.
Trey really enjoyed having his friends on the team, Spencer and Miles. He met a few new friends, Robert, and Sam.
Trey loved being the point guard. He did rather well being able to dribble the ball down the court. There wasn’t very many times where he walked or double dribbled.
We were all quite impressed with his shooting ability. Trey and Spencer would still the show most of the time and make almost all the teams points. They would practice and practice at both their homes.
Their team was really good defensively. The coach taught them how to keep their hands up and not foul. They did that good for the most part.
This year was a really good year for Trey in basketball. He learned a lot and enjoyed being on a team where they all got along and had fun. He is so excited for next year because next year they get to keep score for reels. Until next YMCA season.
