The mighty might's faced a very good team; the Barstow Aztecs. We played hard and good and won the game.
Trey was a tackling machine and didn’t let very many opponents get past him. He is improving more and more every game.
The next week we played Apple Valley. They were also a very good team but not good enough because we won!!!
Trey seems so small playing on the offensive line but his size doesn’t portray his ability to tackle.
He gets right in there and is in on a lot of the tackles. He gets more tackles playing safety.
This time he was covering the wide receiver and was able to see the pass, turn and…..
INTERCEPTION!!!!
I was a little nervous he wouldn’t remember which way to run but he did great!!! He tucked the ball in and ran his little legs as fast as they could run.
It paid off because it was a TOUCHDOWN!!! He ran about 30 yards. We were all so excited and he was so very excited BUT it got called back. Someone on his team hit another player in the back. We were so sad for Trey. He was still excited. He is getting to be a really good football player. I love watching him play.
