The Kick off Bowl for Little League football was here at Kern Valley. We hosted 5 teams and had a very successful time. Trey’s team, the mighty mites, did really well. The main quarter back for the mighty mites got hurt at school two days before the kick off bowl. The night before kick off they decided to have Trey be the QB. He was excited and nervous but you’d never know because he doesn’t let things rattle him. He is as cool as a cucumber.
He did really well even thou he fumbled it a few times he still was calm and collect.
He broke thru the first tackle and kept running…
and ran it for a TOUCHDOWN!!! He was so excited.
I love this picture of Coach Curtis yelling at Trey to keep running all the way. The funny thing was Trey was all by himself running while all the other players were still tackling each other on the line.
Trey ended up getting 5 TD through out the whole day. He said he had the most fun making his first TD!! It will be an exciting year for him.
Zach’s team did pretty well be had a little harder time with the bigger boys.
Zach did great as QB. He was able to keep his concentration even under tight pressure. He made a few td passes.
I love that he is so agile and able to juke the other players.
LOVE the stiff arm. He is so good at this game!!
The “Magic Gloves” came out on a few plays when he was running the ball. He makes football exciting for me to watch. I can’t wait to watch him during true games.
