Having to travel for baseball games has its advantages. We spent a week or so in San Luis Obisbo and Pismo for state qualifiers and then state baseball.
We decided to rent a bike and ride around Pismo beach. Tayah was staying the couple weeks at the cousins house in Vegas so she wasn’t with us.
Jayda and Trey had a great time sitting in the front eating their caramel apple. Kenny, Zach and I had to peddle all of us around. You can see that my pre-teen is having such a wonderful time going around this beach town with his family on the bike.
Jayda wasn’t so sure about touching things at first and just liked looking at them.
Once she was a little comfortable with ocean life she was all about holding and poking the crabs. She loved it.
Our very good friends the Tito’s came to watch one of Zachary’s games. We all went to the tide pools during the tournament. Zach, Trey, Taylor and Tanner had a blast going around with each other looking for ocean creatures.
Zach and Derrick were determined to get the crab out of the crack. They tried for a good 15 min. then finally excepted defeat.
I can’t believe how old our kids are getting. This was such a cool picture to me. The only thing missing was Tayah!
We took a walk out on the Pismo Pier. Jayda loved looking at the pelican bird. She liked watching it eat what ever people were giving to him. Zach thought throwing the pelican pieces of dead fish was pretty cool.
We found a store with yummy treats. Tanner chose the chocolate covered mile worms and chocolate scorpion. He said it tasted like crunchy chocolate. So dusting!!! Jayda and the rest of us would rather eat the chocolate covered marshmallows with sprinkles.
