Every year at about this same time, Spring time, I say I am going to keep up on this blog even though we have three kids playing sports, doing dance, scouts and activity days; and then Bam Summer is almost over. I will rap up this baseball season before the next one begins.
Trey was on the Phillies team down in Bakersfield at Northwest baseball. We decided to take him down there so he could play the pitching machine.
One of the coaches wife’s got baskets for each player and their items. Way Cool!!
We were so lucky to have gotten him on his friend, Josh Reiswigs team. The coaches and their wives were awesome.
Trey did extremely well and hit the ball every time.
Trey has the best facial expressions when he is really concentrating. One of these days he is going to chomp down on that tongue.
He even got a double in the last few games. The coach early on told the boys that if they played catcher then they could pick any position to play next.
Trey was the first to volunteer. It soon became his favorite position. He loved playing second baseman and pitcher.
Trey’s team ended up being Champions of the APM league. He was so excited. This was the score of the Championship game. They were playing great.
Nice cupcake, croaked smile!! Next year he will be able to play kid pitch and maybe have the chance to be on a All Star team.
