This year we stayed home and had a few friends over to help ring in the New Year. The Hansens, the Hogues, and the Young Family. We had so much food there you would have thought it was our last supper.
The girls enjoyed sitting in the hot tub.
Morgan and Jayda had a great time swimming and jumping in the hot tub. The girls loved it so much that they went in it a couple of times.
The adults played a few games. Toni’s favorite “The Mexican Horse Races”, “If Your Going On a Picnic”, and a friendly game of spoons.
Well, maybe not to friendly. There might have been a few fights, scratches, and dirty looks but I think everyone had a great time.
When we were done we caught the kids using the treadmill as a fun toy. Only a few girls would go on the machine at the top speed, Ali, Lauren and Toni. Tayah and Trey enjoyed it when they turned it down a few notches. No, my kids aren’t allowed to play on this like that and can only turn it up to number 3. I guess when the parents are busy the kids will play. I might have to keep a watch on this.
Thank goodness for modern technology because we had to pause the count down to get the sparkling cider passed out. We heard the fire works going on from the neighbors and then about 5 min. later our girls went outside screaming in the New Year.
Spencer, Jayda and Trey had fun ringing in the New Year. Thank heavens for Spencer because Trey would have been the only boy there. Zach was in Las Vegas with his cousins ringing in the New Year. We missed him but I am not sure he missed being in a house full of girls
Tori, Tylee, Lauren, Ali, Tayah and Teagan did really good entertaining themselves and helping with the little girls while the adults played.
Nothing like ringing in the New Year with your BFF!!
