Day 3 in St. Kitts

Today was the big shopping day. It is the day that the cruise ships come in so all the shops are open. My mom, mom-in-law, Gerry, J, Cyb, Tayah, Trey and I went off shopping. The divers went diving and thanks to Debbie for watching Jayda. Our taxi man was Mr. Kool, and he was very nice and took us right up to the point where the cruise ship people came off the ship. We all scattered and looked at different shops hoping to meet up somewhere in the end. I think everyone got what they wanted and tons more. It seemed that when one person would get something another would want it. It was becoming a viscous cycle. Trey was done shopping after a 1/2 cuz it was so hot and he couldn't find what he was looking for. Finally after 4 hot, long hours of shopping we decided it was time to be done. We were walking out of the shopping area and Cyb decided to stop and look at something. Trey very seriously looked at her and said, "You aren't going to look at anything any more remember!" We laughed at him and thought only a kid could say that and get away with it. Gerry and J left us and went to the Batik fatory and saw some beautiful gardens and a 350 year old tree. They had a wonderful time.

While we were waiting for the last minute shoppers a local group came out and was street performing. It was pretty neat and I was intreged with this little boy of the group.
He struggled at times but you could tell he was trying so hard to learn the native dance. I thought he did a great job.

This is a clock in down town Basseterre, the capitol of St. Kitts. It is in the middle of shops with people and vehicles everywhere. Cyb, Linda and my mom all had the energy to pose for the picture. The kids were so done they didn't want anything to do with it. They literally shopped till they dropped.
I promise that Kenny didn't make Trey go under water for the picture. The face Trey is making you would think we forced him. Trey said that the clorine was hurting his eyes.
Papa Bushling and Papa Ellis chit chatting
When Jayda was first jumping she would only jump to me and not it doesn't matter who Jayda jumps to just as long as she is able to jump to someone. We all have to take turns because she can really wear us out.
Grandma Ellis was the next victum for the jumping bean!
Jayda was so funny because after she was done jumping, like an hour later, she got out of the pool layed on the cement and patted the cement next to her and said, "Papa come, come." She even went over to the side of the pool to help him up. What Jayda doesn't know is Papa is on Liv Sxinney and doesn't need help anymore :->.
In the rooms they have Jacuzzi tubs. The little kids love to get in them at night. I was giving Jayda a bath and Zach jumped in, poured the shampoo and made a gigantic bubble bath. Needless to say Zach had a wonderful time but Jayda didn't feel it.
We then had a great dinner and enjoyed each others company. It was a great day of playing, shopping and hanging out. This seems like a Jayda post. Hopefully I will get pictures of the things the boys saw when they went diving.
