Zach was picked to play floor hockey for the 4th grade. He was real excited because he enjoys playing hockey and the main reason he was able to miss school to play. He played both Kernville's and Southlake's 4th grade class and we won. Zach was so excited and seemed very happy that he won. He played goalie and did a great job. He also scored 2 shots in the first game against Kernville and 4 shots against Southlake.
Isn't the mask scary!!! It brought back many memories of the scary shows I would watch in high school - JASON, Friday the 13th.
When we played Southlake Zach had to play against Sami Hurley. They have a love/hate, brother/sister relationship. They were pretty competitive but had fun. Sami claims that Zach hurt her knuckle on purpose but she just was trying to go up against him and got beat. You have to be tough to hang with the tough boys!
