Jayda's addictions

First I need to thank a couple of people for introducing Jayda to her first addictions of her life. We were on one of our vacations and Maughn Kent loves Cheetos and so he thought it would be great to share his love with Jayda. Come to find out it was an instant love affair for her too.

She not only loves them but when she gets some, which is very rare, she can't seem to get enough of them. She acts like it is going to be her last chance ever eating them. Needless to say we can't buy them very often because she goes crazy over them.

If you all remember awhile back when I was FRAMED for the lack of parental guidance over Jayda at Camp Wilderness. Well....

I have some black mailing to do!!! Thanks to Dani and Jim Hurley Jayda loves soda, and red bull. I really thought after 4 kids they would know better then to offer a baby any such thing. We really have to hide our sodas' from her because she will point and cry to have some. I,being the good parent, have not given in to her addiction. She is going through withdrawals because we haven't seen the Hurley's in awhile. I know this withdrawal phase will be over soon and we can all live a healthier life or at least until the next time someone gives into Jayda's sweet face.

On Jayda's first birthday one of our good friends Jay Davis brought Jayda a gift..

This is her third addiction-SUGAR!!!!!! She loves it so much that I really have to be careful with her. She already doesn't eat much and is the most pickiest eater on the face of the plant. So I have to be careful that she doesn't just eat sugary things. She definitely is Kenny's baby in this area. Hopefully these addictions will be the only ones she has. Well, until she is at least 2.

With my first we hardly ever let her have soda and if we did it was watered down. The kids still don't get caffenated soda, and they only really get a soda about 2-3 times a month but they love it and always want a drink of mine. We don't get careless as we have more kids we just realize that they are not going to die because they had a donut, or banana splits for dinner!

Marci, I did learn not to give MY OWN kids soda and red bull, but she's YOURS! It's like grandkids, jim and I can get her wired and cranky and give her back to you. Now you see why she loves us so much. I did notice that you haven't let us see her lately, I think it's about time for Jim to babysit, what do YOU think????
P.S. I have more things to blackmail you with, like Dr. bills from your bully son Zach hitting poor sweet little Sami with his big hockey stick and puck, hurting her just because she temporarily had another boyfriend... what do you teach your kids anyways??? And don't let me forget how Kenny tried to BULLY her at the game because HE THOUGHT she wasn't going for Zach anymore. heheheh (tell Zach, and Kenny not to worry, Sami STILL likes Zach)

I worry about my kids diet sometimes too. Will gagged on a roasted new potato. He won't touch a vegetable. My other kids won't either, but they don't throw up when it appears on their plates. I just look back to my childhood, with a mom who hated veggies, we rarely had any. And fruits was rare, too. We drank loads of sugared Kool-Aid and hot dogs and bologna. And donuts and ice-cream. I turned out alright. Maybe. Now I'm not so sure... you know what I mean though- I reached my height potential, did okay in school, was fairly healthy, and my hair didn't fall out. :) I'm afraid I'm in the same boat as you are- minus the soda. Jessie seems to be taking after Will in the sugar department- she had issues with veggies too. Great- two pukers. It's gross. I need to sneak it in somehow- there is a cook book, I know.
