In Kindergarten they make a huge deal about the Gingerbread man. They talk about him all week and do activities about the Gingerbread man. On the last day of that week they have a huge Gingerbread man search. The Gingerbread man is there at the beginning of the day and then after recess he is mystically gone. The Gingerbread man leaves a note in the Kindergarten class rooms with a poem saying: The Gingerbread man ran through the town, through the town, The Gingerbread man ran through the town singing you will never catch me. It then says where he ran to. They then go to that place hoping to find the Gingerbread man but instead they find another note.
Trey found the note hidden in Mrs. Dwyers Class. Trey's teacher said it was the hardest to find and Trey found it right away. I am not sure if he is really good at the game or if it was just his lucky day. Trey was so excited he found a note because not everyone got to find one. He said he was the best at that game in the whole Kindergarten. They went throughout the school and ended up back in his classroom still chasing that darn Gingerbread man.
When they got back to their class room the Gingerbread man was there. They were all excited that he returned. To celebrate they cut him up and ate him. I don't know about you but it was a little morbid to me. So, was our man purpose to chase this Gingerbread man hoping to catch him and eat him? Did anyone think he was running on his own, which would mean he was alive, or is someone caring him? It didn't matter to the Kindergartens they were just excited to have him as a snack.
