Visiting the Dishions

Friday on our way up to Mammoth we stoped and visited our friends the Dishions. They were all doing great and really enjoying their new home in Bishop.

The girls are getting so big especially little Sophie. Jayda and Sophie will hopefully become good friends growing up. They are about 6 months apart and almost the same size. Jayda is so little. She might come in a small package but she has a big personality.
I was a little shocked that Trey didn't seem to mind getting his picture taken with his friend Sadie, and he put his arm around her. Trey is all about what is ok for boys and what is not. Such as the color pink is not ok for boys. He won't even drink from a pink cup at home. He is a true boy. He was very nice to Sadie and acted like she was one of the guys. Maybe there is hope for this boy in becoming a gentlemen.

It only took the whole time we were there for Tayah and Cayley to get past their shyness and start playing together. I am not sure why girls are so different like that. It seems to take Tayah a good amount of time to feel comfortable enough to have fun with other people. Then it always seems like it is time to go.
All the kids liked playing outside in their backyard. The weather was so nice in Bishop. I thought it would be really cold since it was in the middle of November but I was mistaken. It was beautiful.

Jayda likes to be close to animals when it is on her terms. She was just talking and smiling to the dog when the dog was a safe distance away. Then the dog thought that she was being so nice and decided to get a little closer to play...
Jayda didn't like that and was trying so hard to hide behind me. She didn't like the dog getting into her personal space. We all thought it was so funny how much fun she could have with the dog one minute and then be almost insta-scared the next. We enjoyed our short but sweet visit with the Dishions. Maybe next time Keri, we can stay longer. I might have to come by myself in order for that to happen :->.

It was fun to have all of the kids together. You should come visit without the tume clock (just kidding Kenny). I hope that we do remain good friends and the kids can grow up together.
