I'm not sure who these projects are for? Is it for the parents to see how creative they can be or for the kids to see if their parents can actually do what they want them to do. Trey's project was to disguise a turkey. He first wanted the turkey to be an army dude. I didn't have anything army so I got the Halloween dress up box down and he came up with this...
Thank heavens for old costumes. He was pretty excited when I/we got the body done. Trey sat by me when we/I were doing the project. I told him he help a lot with this project. (I was reassuring him and I that he did help and I was making sure he didn't say anything at school like: look what my mom did or I didn't do anything my mom did it all.) When I said that he just looked at me with a funny face and said "I did?" I told him all the important jobs he had like: picking the disguise out, coloring the turkey, placing the feathers on the turkey, and helping me with the glue gun. You know important things such as that. He is so proud of his spider turkey. I think I am the cool mom now!!!
