Jayda is ONE years old!!
The past year has gone by so fast. The four months of colic that seemed endless back then seems like years ago. Jayda has been such a wonderful thing to happen to us. Her personality is split pretty equal between all three of her older siblings. She has the energy of Zach, the
stubbornness of Tayah, and the ability to play by herself and has facial expressions like Trey. She loves to chase a ball, go outside, wrestle on the floor, do anything with her dad, eat anything sugary, walk under your legs and look up at you and laugh, chase everyone and be chased by everyone, be in the bath, and sleep next to mom. We have learned to be patient, slow down (some what, ok, maybe not so), get creative with food, and relearned kids songs.
The fun didn't stop when she finally had enough eating the cake. After she was done with shoving as much food in her mouth as she could grab.
Happy Birthday baby girl!!! We love you so much and we are so glad you are in our family. We love having fun with you and you make us laugh every day. LOVE YOU!!
The past year has gone by so fast. The four months of colic that seemed endless back then seems like years ago. Jayda has been such a wonderful thing to happen to us. Her personality is split pretty equal between all three of her older siblings. She has the energy of Zach, the Jayda loved the presents and had a hard time opening them all. She was into what ever present she opened at the time. The other kids helped her move right along so she could open them all. She got a vacuum, activity table, books, sorter drum, and clothes. I think she loved the wrapping and the empty boxes the best. She actually sat and looked at the books her cousins, Ethan, Gavin and Kyle gave her. Maybe there is hope that she might be able calm down long enough to read a book. I said Maybe!!!
Jayda wasn't the only one who liked the wrapping paper. Gavin and Kyle had a good time playing with the colorful, noisy wrapping paper.
When we gave her her cake she wasn't sure at first what to do with it. She was leery that it wouldn't taste good or something. She usually digs right in when she knows everyone else is eating it. Especially when it might be something sweet. Zach tried to give her some of the cake but being her stubborn self she wouldn't take it
from him and had to wait until it was on her own terms to eat it. I gave her a big piece of cake and she started off slow making sure that it was something that she wanted to touch and she really had to make sure that it was something she wanted to eat. Once she finally figured out that the cake was good and sweet she had a good time with it.
The fun didn't stop when she finally had enough eating the cake. After she was done with shoving as much food in her mouth as she could grab.
She needed to throw the cake down on the floor. She had a great time getting dirty, making a huge mess and having a little sugar high in the end.
