We had a great weekend up at Camp Wilderness. It has 4 cabins that sleep 15 people each, a bigger main lodge with a big kitchen and a loft up stairs and two seperate bathrooms with showers. We went with the Hurley clan, the Tuckers, Smiths, Millers and the Moffatts.
The kids had a great time!!! I am not sure if I saw them very much because they were loving it being in the wilderness and doing what ever they wanted (to a degree). I think their favorite part was getting dirty and not caring.

Zachary and Austin seemed to become better friends over the weekend. As you can tell from this picture I think they enjoyed eating dirt the best.
There was a lot of scrapes around the area. I know that sounds funny but you know when you clean house and you have piles of junk and don't know if you should throw them away or not. Well, that is exactly what was around. Chairs, dollies, styrofom boxes and a bunch of other useless crab. Well, my child, Trey, found a use for some of them. I think the Hurleys had already invented most of them but Trey thought it was cool that he might of thought of it. This is two dollies put together that they used to ride down the dirt hill. Trey kept telling Dyan (I think) to lean so that they could steer it the right direction.
Trey loves to build forts and with all this fun stuff Dylan and Trey were able to build a "Cool fort" according to Trey.
Trey just loved that he was playing with the big boys. They were really good to him and pretty much did what ever Trey wanted. I am not sure that will be a good idea in the future!
This was an empty trash bin. The kids used it to lock up the other kids. I thought it was kind of funny and in a weird way it looked fun. You know when you were a kid and you played cops and robers and had to lock up the robers and wished that you really had something to lock them up in. Well, I know why we didn't have them, because kids get hurt. A few minutes after I took this picture Jared got hurt because someone slammed his arm in the door. Maybe make believe is better then reality.
We brought our bikes and I think they got plenty of use by everyone. Kenny took Trey on a bike ride to the Poderosa store. Yes, way up in the boonies there is a store. Kenny I think bribed him with ice cream at the store if Trey went. Trey isn't a fool and went with Kenny. He is so smart that he talked Kenny in taking him for another ride later that day with Tylee to get a special treat from the store.

No matter what you read on Dany's blog I did watch my Jayda when ever I could. I can't help it if other people want to share the happiness that she brings when you are around her. I didn't want to upset people by saying no, they can't hold and play with Jayda. It isn't my fault that she was occupied 95% of the time with other people. Tylee and Shasta seemed to take many turns with her.
I think Jayda might have a secret crush on Jim.
She is very social. And I swear I never left her alone no matter what Dani's blog might show!!!!
Kenny enjoyed what he likes to do best -- take a nap!!! He took a nap in the main lodge with all of us around. That man can sleep anywhere.
This might be a tradition for the Hurley girls to jump in mid air so Tayah got in the picture too. The girls were Tayah, Harley, Tylee, and Hannah. Tayah and Harley were becoming great friends and enjoyed hanging out with each other all weekend. Everyone kept telling Tayah to watch out for the mice in the cabins and bears at night. She really took this to heart. She kept dreaming about mice and would get very emotional at night worring about the bears. Luckily we only had a visitor at night while we were sleeping.

We came home to 6 cords of wood sitting in our drive way. This is the reason,Dani, Tabie and Krissy, that I didn't blog on Sunday. We stacked about 1/4 of it with Kenny before he left on his week long hiking trip. He said to leave the stack there until he got back. I just can't do it because I can't let Karrie Bunting show me up by building a fence while her husband is gone so you bet I am going to stack all 6 cords of wood. Anyways, we had a wonderful weekend and can't wait until we go back again.

I had plenty of quality time with her like the sucking of the nose with the blue sucky thing. Also, in the middle of the night when I didn't want her to cry to long and wake everyone else up so I brought her into my sleeping bag and nursed most of the night. You know really happy quality times.
On the last night we were there Kenny, being the camp host oh so many years at the rafting company, had games for the kids. He kept them entertained for a couple of hours. He gave a motivational talk about cleaning the camp around the fire pit and then we would roast smores afterwards. The kids all jumped up and went to clean the area, even the adults said they felt like going because Kenny made it sound so fun.
Not to gross you out but I had to document what we had to live with all weekend. The Hurley's think they are so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
