Zach did it!!!! He is now a certified scuba diver. Kenny worked real hard with him the past months helping him do his book work and getting the dives done. Zach is real excited but I think Kenny is even more excited. During Zach's final test he took so long that Kenny wasn't sure Zach was going to pass. Zach ended up passing but said that he kept daydreaming during it (look out 4th grade teacher you have a real scholar on your hand). 
He dove first in the Merta's pool. He looked so small to carry all the gear you need to dive with. He did a great job and enjoyed the first two lessons.
The next two dives were in the lake. The lake as you know is very murky and very hard to see. You could only see about 6-10 inches in front of you. He said he got a little nervous at times but he did a good job equalizing himself. He then got to dive in the ocean off Ventura at Ana Capa Island. He said he loved it because there was a bunch of fish.
Now we are off to Aruba and St. Kitts this fall so Zach and Kenny and dive and we can play. I think he will enjoy seeing all the fish and dive in the warm water. He really wants to see a shark. I hope if he does it is a small non human eating shark.
