I can't believe that she is nine months old already. Time has flown by. She seriously dislikes baby food and pushes my hand away every time I try to feed her it. If I am successful then she just spits it out and I end up wearing it on my shirt and my face. She could win a spitting contest for 9 month old baby's I swear it. She wants anything we are eating which is hard because it gives her gas. Like we need that experience again. I found that if I give her watered down apricot nectar the gas problem is solved. I NEEDED to let Jayda go to bed and sleep longer then 2 or 3 hours which meant some tough love and letting her cry it out. The only way I was able to let her cry and not pick her up was to move her out of my room. So we moved her into Tayah's room and kicked Tayah out. Sorry girl!!! Tayah is a light sleeper and woke up to much the first few nights as roommates. Moving her worked and she slept for 6 hours one night, then we went on vacation and she got sick so we are back to square one. If she would only learn from her twin cousins and sleep 11 hours I would really love her and not just kind of love her- just kidding.

Jayda has been crawling somewhat around 8 1/2 months. The past week she has been motoring around so fast that we have to watch her so close. She doesn't do the normal on both knees crawl. She has her left knee down and uses her right foot propt off the the side. It is a little funky but who says you have to crawl perfectly. She loves to crawl under the table. Zach (so my child) said it made him nervous when she crawled under the table and he didn't like it. We will have to arrange our house somewhat different now that she is so "miss busy".

She has just been pulling herself up the past few days. She tries to pull up on everything even if it doesn't have something to hold onto. The other day she had her back to the couch and stood up using just her legs. Then the other night she was hanging on Trey's bed and let go and took a step. This girl is going to walk before we know it. Heaven HELP me!!!!

She loves to play in water. She loves to splash and kick her feet in the water. It doesn't matter if she gets wet or not she just loves to be in it. She is also at the stage we call " a HAND with a body". This is what Kenny's Uncle Bill called him when he was little. It is where you have to touch everything and anything. It is really an ugly stage because it is hard to control her. We are enjoying her immensely and look forward to many more milestones with her. Happy 9th month Jayda!!!
