Scary night

As I sit here blogging I see a shadow run past my sliding back door and if you know me I start to freak out. No, I didn't call the cops. You have to play the old fishing wire on my front door trick for me to call the cops on you. Well, I had to check it out. I can't just let it go and hope that nothing happens I have to look danger in the face. I am one of those girls on the dumb scary movies that we all yell at and say NO don't go in there just run!!! I totally understand the curiosity they have to see what the heck us going on. So, I get up do my lights out except the lights outside trick and peek oh so slightly out my blinds. My hearts racing, my adrenaline is going and I am wondering what the heck am I going to do if it really is a person in my back yard. Would I run and hide, would I grab my kids and hide or go get the bat by my bed and be ready to battle. Thankfully I didn't have to make that decision I realized that I am living in fear of the neighbors skunk!!! Yes, skunks!! Technically it isn't his skunk but he puts his cats food outside and the skunks (plural because its a family of skunks) eat their food. I am not sure if the skunks live under my pool deck or in the neighbors back yard. I am not sure why they come over but it all started last summer. Kenny saw the whole family of skunks. It really stinks (no pun intended) that I am not afraid to go outside at night. It isn't because I think there is someone there to hurt me it's because I don't want to get sprayed by a skunk. The bright side I make sure that all is good in the back yard before sunset.

That really does stink, but I am glad it was nothing more than a skunk in your backyard. I am so impressed at how much you blog. We love to see pictures of you guys, and hear all the stories we wouldn't normally get to hear.
