Jayda 8 months old

Jayda is 8 months old and is so fun and very interactive that we are all just loving it. Sometimes the kids love her to much and do way to much to her and for her. When she rolls over she is scooting back with her hands but hasn't tried to crawl yet. When she is sitting down she reaches really far and bends one of her legs to reach even further but not much more. She still doesn't like baby food much she prefers finger food. I have to give her some finger food and then sneak baby food in between her bites of food. She likes tofu (yuck), Cheerios, green beans, peaches, pears, bread, avocado, baby puff things, turkey, cheese, yogurt, cut up spaghetti, any baby food I can sneak in her mouth, eggs, and pancakes. We ended her special 8 months old day with a gassy episode. You would think she would have out grown that but I guess that is just her. Here are a few random pictures of her over the past month. We sat her in front of this play mat and somehow she got all caught up in it. She is so funny because she always seems to have a smile on her face even when she is stuck.

Jayda swimming with her cousin Megan and Tayah. Jayda loves the water and doesn't even mind if she gets splashed or gets water in her face. She is a fish.

Jayda loves to grab the boys hats. Trey loves to make her laugh which he does with his funny facial expressions all the time. They laugh together all the time.

I am trying so had to give her the pacifier but she won't have anything to do with it. One day I gave her her snuggle bunny and she took it and put it in her mouth and calmed down and went to sleep. I did it again the next day and it worked. I guess I need to get about a dozen of these bunnies so I will never run out of them

The kids put her in their swimming rings for a little play pen. She didn't mind at all because they gave her toys to play with inside. Poor Jayda, she is always getting things done to her at least she is a good sport.
