Idaho Family

We had a great, very fast trip to Idaho during spring break for my brother Brian's farewell. He is going on a mission to Raleigh, North Carolina Spanish speaking. He was so excited about going that it trickled down to me and my kids. He kept singing "Called to Serve" around the house and I noticed Zach walking around singing that song too. It was exciting to be there with him. He kept raising his arms and saying HOORAY for ISRAEL from the movie "The other side of heaven. Then came the dreaded MTC. This is where we say good-bye to him for 2 years. It is a bitter sweet thing. They told us to have a band aid good-bye. This meant the faster you say good-bye the easier it will be. So we all tried to keep the water works to a minimum and say our goodbyes fast. As he was walking towards the missionary door he turn to us and raised his arms and said HOORAY for ISRAEL. Needless to say the water works went full blast. He will be an awesome missionary.

While we were in Idaho we got to see my new niece Aspen. My Sister Sheri had her blessed because most of us where there. What an amazing thing to be a part of.

Aspen is only 1 week younger then Jayda. Aspen was smaller then Jayda but she's catching up fast. Her temperment is very relaxed compared to Jayda. I thought I might have to pinch her to see if she cries. They will be great play mates when they get older.

We love to go visit everyone, we only wish we lived closer. All the cousins love their Uncle Brian. He is so good with them. The cousins just love to get together and play. We have created a monster though, because when we come to visit we usually try and do as much as possible because we don't see each other very much. So now the kids expect us to be their activity directors all the time. Now that our entertainer Uncle Brian is gone we'll have to figure things out - MAN we might have to play with our kids!

The pictures are the sisters with Brian, and the dads with their babies. We were only missing Teasha, Jon and Ethan and Trent. Our family is growing so big. When we are all together there is 15 adults and 18 grandchildren. AND everyone is not done having babies. Talk about multiply and replenishing the earth.
